New for 2026, Gin In A Tin’s Christmas Pudding Gin is a festive spirit developed with a deep appreciation for classic Christmas pudding. It draws on the familiar seasonal combination of rich fig, dark plum and vibrant candied citrus peel to create a gin that feels unmistakably Christmassy.

Warming and full-bodied, it is designed to suit both simple festive serves and more indulgent dessert occasions.

It works beautifully in a traditional G&T, but also lends itself to a more decadent dessert-style serve. In this version, warm Christmas pudding is spooned out while still steaming, then a measure of gin is poured over the top so it slowly absorbs into the sponge. The result is a richer, more aromatic dessert where the gin enhances the fruit cake notes and adds a bright citrus lift.

For those looking to add a bit of drama at the table, the gin can also be used as part of a flambé-style presentation. A small amount is carefully poured over the pudding and ignited just before serving, creating a brief burst of flame for theatrical effect. (This should be done with care and only using appropriate high-strength alcohol where ignition is safe and reliable.)

TASTING NOTES:

The aroma opens with ripe fig and deep plum, followed by lifted notes of candied orange peel. On the palate, the gin is smooth and rounded, with juniper sitting quietly beneath layers of dried fruit sweetness. Citrus zest runs through the centre, supported by gentle baking spice. The finish is long and comforting, with a fruitcake richness and a soft, warming spice glow.
SERVING SUGGESTION:

Christmas Pudding G&T
Fill a glass with ice, add 50ml of Gin In A Tin Christmas Pudding Gin, and top with tonic water. Stir lightly and garnish with an orange wedge, a cinnamon stick and a few cranberries for a seasonal finish.

Classic Festive G&T
Pour 50ml over plenty of ice, top with tonic, and finish with a twist of orange peel. A lighter, refreshing serve that still carries the warming festive character.

Warm Dessert Serve
Spoon hot Christmas pudding into a bowl and pour over 25–50ml of gin, allowing it to soak through. The spirit enhances the richness of the pudding while adding lifted citrus and spice notes.
