- 25ml fresh lime juice (about 1 small lime)
- 4–5 cucumber slices
- 2 sprigs fresh dill (plus extra for garnish)
- Soda water or tonic water, to top up
- Ice
Method
-
Muddle cucumber slices and dill in a shaker to release their fresh flavours.
-
Add gin and lime juice, then fill the shaker with ice and shake well.
-
Strain into an ice-filled highball or rocks glass.
-
Top with soda or tonic water, and garnish with a cucumber ribbon and a sprig of dill.
Serving Suggestion
This cocktail is herbaceous without being overpowering, crisp without being heavy. The cucumber provides a natural cooling effect, while dill adds a subtle, fragrant depth. Topped with soda or tonic, it’s the perfect drink for warm afternoons or when you want something light, clean, and refreshing.
