A warming, fragrant twist on the classic G&T, this cocktail pairs autumnal pear and cinnamon with fresh thyme and a splash of citrus for a beautifully balanced drink.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Gin No.14 (Packham Pear, Cinnamon & Orange Peel)

  • 45 ml Pear Juice

  • Approx. 10 ml Fresh Lemon Juice (a splash)

  • 1 Sprig Fresh Thyme (plus extra to garnish)

  • 100–120 ml Tonic Water (adjust to taste)

  • Ice Cubes

  • Optional Garnish: Pear Slice, Fresh Thyme Sprig, Cinnamon Stick

Method

  1. Muddle the thyme: Add one sprig of fresh thyme to a cocktail shaker and muddle gently for 10–15 seconds to release its aromatic oils.

  2. Add liquids and ice: Pour in the pear juice, lemon juice, and a generous handful of ice.

  3. Shake: Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds to chill and blend the ingredients.

  4. Strain and build: Strain the mixture into a double old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

  5. Top with tonic: Pour over 100–120 ml of tonic water, adjusting to your taste.

  6. Garnish (optional but recommended): Add a slice of pear, a fresh thyme sprig, and a cinnamon stick for a warm, aromatic finish.
